Description

Two women’s costumes from the village of Soufli in Thrace back and front. The woman’s dress coat is known by the name of “kaftani” made of striped silk red material and is worn over a unique curly silk chemise. The headdress is composed of two scarves and a typical temple ornament “paouni” depicting the nativity.
